surroundings. Located on the back of a 240 acre ranch, Alfred Scherer surely
selected this location to build his home in the late 1800s for its delightful
breezes and mesmerizing views.
The kitchen is completely equipped for cooking. White
cabinets and window shutters are invitingly surrounded by country blue
wallpaper. Being the original old style kitchen....meals were and are continued
to be savored in the kitchen around the antique table for four.
Comfortably arranged in front of the electric fireplace and
TV is a sofa (queen size sleeper) and cushy armchair. In the bedroom is a king
size bed with a colorful quilt and decorative gingham fluffy pillows. The
original beaded board along with the window shutters are a pristine white. A
special feature in the bedroom is the antique dresser and wardrobe. Adjacent to
the bedroom is the bath which has a pedestal tub. The sink has been set into an
old wooden vanity.
The best part of all is the porch just outside the kitchen.
Relax and enjoy the surroundings including a four acre fishing lake just below
the house. Your hosts live on the 240 acres. Their ranch is a working ranch, and
you will probably see either people, cattle, or goats roaming about.
