Constructed and designed by the award winning builder, Richard Laughlin, in the turn-of-the-century straw-bale and stucco manner, Anastasia is the perfect place if you are looking to escape to the peaceful tranquility of the Texas Hill Country. Follow the native limestone pathway to the entrance and you will find a truly romantic get-away. Hand stenciled stucco welcomes you as your enter Anastasia.
Once inside, you will find a massive king-size poster bed in an old world atmosphere, and a handcrafter iron and Texas granite table. The whirlpool tub is nestled in a bed of limestone. A double-sided fireplace can be enjoyed as you soak in the whirlpool or from the bedroom. The kitchen area has a compact refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
French doors open to the wrap around deck. From here you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the country. For the adventurous, a stone walkway leads to an outdoor shower. A hammock is strung between two oak trees, allowing the perfect spot to listen to birds and gentle breezes blowing through the treetops. You may even have the resident horses come and beg for a snack! Rest assured Jody (big horse) will be the one in the lead, if he thinks she might get a treat! The horses will come to visit during your stay so be careful about closing the gate.
