The Good Art School To Offer Art Camp This Week

The Good Art School, located on Baron’s Creekside Resort, will offer an art camp from Monday, July 23 through Thursday, July 26. Shannon Birchum will help young artists ages 9 to 12 years old explore different cultures and styles of art from around the globe, including places like Egypt, China, Russia and India. Classes will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. daily, with students arriving by 9:30 a.m. with sack lunch, drink and a smock or a t-shirt. For more information,

St. Joseph’s Halle Craft Show – December 14

Hand-crafted holiday decor, birdhouses, sweaters, scarves and fresh pecans and pecan products will be available at this show.  Paintings by local artists, mosaic stained glass windows, heirloom silverplate and broken china jewelry, handmade needlecrafts, cowboy santas, jams, jellies, and shabby chic furniture will also be sold.  At historic St. Joseph’s Halle, 212 W.
