“From Terroir to Table” Fundraiser at Becker Vineyards

Dr. Richard and Bunny Becker are hosting “From Terroir to Table” in the Lavender Haus at Becker Vineyards near Stonewall to benefit the Texas Center for Wine and Culinary Arts. The award-winning wines of Becker Vineyards will be paired with the flavorful cuisine of Jason Dady, Executive Chef and Owner of Bin 555 Restaurant and Wine Bar in San Antonio. The evening begins with an optional winery tour led by Dr. Becker at 6:30 pm. A reception follows at 7 pm with the four-course dinner at 7:30 pm. A live and silent auction will be part of the celebration of fine wine and fine cuisine. Attire for the evening is “business”. Tickets are $125 per person. Grape Stomp at Becker Vineyards – This Weekend

Celebrate grape harvest with lots of ‘stomp me, crush me, make me wine’ action at Becker Vineyards’ Grape Stomp this Saturday, August 27 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 28 from noon until 6:00 p.m. at the winery at Jenschke Lane off Hwy 290 near Stonewall. Pull off your shoes, climb into the barrel, and celebrate the industry’s original method of grape separation. Admission is free, so bring your feet and prepare to get dirty – or, purchase a glass of wine and enjoy watching the fun! More grape-stomping action returns next weekend at the winery, September 3-4. Rambling Rosé at Becker Vineyards – August 9

Think Pink! Participate in a blind tasting of a selection of rosé wines from around the world and benefit Culinaria, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing international culture to the Hill Country through great wines and flavorful recipes.
