17th Annual Grape Stomp at Becker Vineyards – August 23-24

“Stomp Me, Crush Me, Make Me Wine!” is at battle cry at the Annual Becker Vineyards Grape Stomp! There will be barrels cut in half with grapes in them for visitors to stomp on! Some people also like to purchase souvenir T-shirts to “stomp” their prints on. The event is complimentary. There will also be music at 1 p.m. the four days of the Grape Stomp.

There is no entry fee.

Becker Vineyards Wine Dinner at Hill Top Cafe – September 7

Becker Vineyards’ Lavendar Festival

Celebrate all things lavender at Becker Vineyards’ Lavender Festival this Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 1 from noon until 5:00 p.m. In its 15th year, this festival is held on the grounds of the winery location just off Hwy 290 E, just 11 miles from Fredericksburg. Activities include presentations, cooking demonstrations infusing lavender in the recipes, and vendor booths. Admission to the Lavender Festival is complimentary; however, there is a $5 parking fee. Lavender Luncheons will also be available at 12:30 p..m. each day and at a cost of $65 plus tax per person – reservations required. “From Terroir to Table” Fundraiser at Becker Vineyards

Dr. Richard and Bunny Becker are hosting “From Terroir to Table” in the Lavender Haus at Becker Vineyards near Stonewall to benefit the Texas Center for Wine and Culinary Arts. The award-winning wines of Becker Vineyards will be paired with the flavorful cuisine of Jason Dady, Executive Chef and Owner of Bin 555 Restaurant and Wine Bar in San Antonio. The evening begins with an optional winery tour led by Dr. Becker at 6:30 pm. A reception follows at 7 pm with the four-course dinner at 7:30 pm. A live and silent auction will be part of the celebration of fine wine and fine cuisine. Attire for the evening is “business”. Tickets are $125 per person. Bluegrass, Bluebonnets and BBQ at Becker Vineyards – March 17 and 18

Chicago’s own Wood Street Bloodhounds will be performing live this weekend at Becker Vineyards’ Bluegrass, Bluebonnets and BBQ. The event runs from 1:00-4:00 p.m. both days – Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18 – at the vineyards off Hwy 290 E. Tickets are $30 per person plus tax.
