Waylon’s Birthday Bash – June 13-15

Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson forever put Luckenbach, Texas into the mind of the nation with their hit “Luckenbach,Texas.” Now Luckenbach is returning the favor to the late Waylon Jennings, from 1-5 pm. This event benefits the diabetes patients at the Good Samaritan Center. Texas Independence Day at Luckenbach, Texas – March 7

Luckenbach, Texas celebrates Texas Independence. Official Texas Flag retirement ceremony with Texas Rangers. Starting at noon, Brian Burns and Doug Moreland entertain and present history through music. The Texas Star Trail Ride comes through town around 3 to 4 pm – it’s a sight to behold. “Live Free & Fly” 4th of July Celebration in Luckenbach Texas

Annual event featuring Walt and Tina Wilkins and friends. Live music all day. Special guest this year are The Warren Hood Band, Brennen Leigh & Noel McKay, and Brennen Leigh & Noel McKay. A great Family day in Luckenbach, Texas. 1-6pm This is an outdoor event. Please bring your lawn chairs, dogs on leashes, grandmas, aunts and uncles. The World famous Lawn Mower Parade happens at 4pm. Fundraiser benefits the Harmony Project.

Luckenbach Mud Dauber/Rockin Billy Chili Fest 2015 – March 21

The best in Rock a Billy Music and a return to our Chili Cook Off Roots (Luckenbach and Terlingua are synonamous). A No Holds Barred Chili Cook Off… Get your team together and get ready to take the Luckenbach GOLD!! The Return of the Mud Dauber is also celebrated as Luckenbach has the best MUD in the Universe! Live music by Rosie Flores, Jesse Dayton, Two Tons of Steel, Paul Cauthen and Billy Joe Shaver. Public chili tasting begins at 1 pm. Chili tasting kits sold separately at the gate for $10 until sold out.

40th Annual Luckenbach, Texas Hug-In – February 13-14

The Luckenbach post office and general storeIt’s that time of year again for folks to get “Back to the Basics of Love”.  You can do it at Luckenbach’s annual Hug-In and Valentine Ball!

Asleep at the Wheel holds court on Saturday night for the Valentine’s Ball and Dale Watson joins the fun on Friday night with the “Give Me More Kisses” dance.  Tickets are available for the entire event which includes a camping pass and tickets to both shows or purchase a ticket for just the shows, no camping.  Tickets for the entire weekend are $45.  Dale Watson’s show ticket is $15.  Asleep at the Wheel’s show ticket is $20.  Happy Valentine’s Weekend Y’all!  Come get your HEART on with us!  Details and tickets available online. (830)997-3224.

Luckenbach Christmas Ball with Gary P. Nunn – December 20

Make sure your holiday plans include cuttin’ a rug in the Luckenbach Dancehall to the legendary Gary P. Nunn!! He will be performing at this year’s Cowboy Christmas Ball. It will surely be a night to remember! Advance tickets on sale now. $20 per person; kids 12 and under are free.  All ages welcome but everyone must have a ticket. The World Famous Luckenbach Dance Hall located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country was made famous by Willie, Waylon and The Boys and local folklorist Hondo Crouch.

Hill Country Food Truck Festival – August 2

First annual event to be held in Luckenbach Texas and featuring live Americana music all day, around 15 Texas Hill Country food trucks and 10 Texas Hill Country wineries as well as beer from the Luckenbach bar. Proceeds benefit the Texas Center for Wine and Culinary Arts. The Americana live music schedule will kick off at noon and continue until 11:30 pm. Headlined by The Green Cards, performers will include Milk Drive, Lewis and Martin, Paul Cauthen, Bonnie Bishop, Dan Dyer, Steve Poltz and more. Tickets are available online.
