For a weekend or a week, the High Street Guest House is the place you can settle in and relax. Built in the early 1900’s by the Fellbaums, the family has lovingly renovated the home, adding modern amenities.
Entering the living room through the original 100 year old door, you are greeted with a comfortable area to read, play games, watch movies or just enjoy each other’s company. The dining area houses a table large enough to seat eight along with a pillow topped bench for extra seating. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to enjoy the snacks and beverages provided by your hosts, bring in take-out from one of the nearby restaurants or to do your own cooking—the choice is yours.
The two bedrooms share a full bath that includes a claw-foot tub with shower and vessel-topped vanity. The master bedroom houses a well appointed king bed and the sunny second bedroom offers a twin bed with a trundle. Completing the home is the enclosed back porch room with a single daybed and a large half bath with laundry facilities available.
Spend a lazy evening on the front porch glider watching the small-town activities, take a stroll along High Street to visit the shops or travel to any of the nearby attractions. We know you will enjoy your time in “Comfort”.
