Runnymede Country Inn offers a serene retreat in a beautiful Hill Country setting. Only three miles south of Fredericksburg, overlooking the valley below, this elegant English style inn will delight you with country charm and delicious breakfasts. Gathering areas downstairs are ideal for various events, including weddings, business meetings, casual classes and social gatherings. Upstairs four private luxury accommodations awaiting your arrival. Downstairs offers two breakfast areas, a kitchen, meeting areas, and seating area. The kitchen is open to guests, with coffee, tea, and beverages available. Cooking facilities are reserved for your host's use. The meeting area is available for rent; please check with your hosts for pricing and availability. Please note, the meeting area and covered patio may be used by groups that are not staying at Runnymede.
This wonderful two story cottage is perfect for any romantic occasion or two couples traveling together. A front porch with rockers overlooks an array of trees and wildlife. The living room provide both comfort and romance. Sofas are placed to enjoy both the electric fireplace and the satellite TV. Downstairs the bedroom has a queen queen bed and the bath offers a large shower. Luxury and romance are found upstairs-this bedroom has a king bed. The loveseat is placed to enjoy the satellite TV and VCR. Step up to the large whirlpool tub which is open to the bedroom.
