Comfortable, relaxing, secluded and elegant are the best words to describe this wonderful cabin. Leave all of your worries and troubles behind to enjoy this special cabin in the woods. Ravenwood Cottage is a two story secluded bed and breakfast just 9.5 short miles from Fredericksburg. Entering the cabin stop to enjoy the Texas sized porch with both an eating and sitting area (with ceiling fans to keep you cool on those hot summer days).
Downstairs is the living area with a loveseat placed to enjoy the television (DVD only) or just sit and listen to music on the Radio/CD/Ipod player. Enjoy breakfast on the table for two. The kitchen offers a coffeebar with refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. The bathroom is downstairs and has a shower. On the second floor is a spacious bedroom with queen bed and a cozy reading nook.
Your hosts were attracted to this property because of its natural surroundings. The property (2 1/2 acres) offers numerous walking paths, many wildflowers, a picnic area, and excellent bird watching. Additionally Ravenwood is registered with the National Wildlife Foundation as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat or "wildscape" which means we provide food, water, and shelter for wildlife.
