This precious little 1940’s bungalow is found on a quiet street just a short distance from Main Street.
It is named “The Hayloft” because your host was a professional rodeo rider. Some of the furniture and décor are part of his history, which I know everyone will enjoy looking at. The décor is not just western, but also has an array of beautiful and tasteful decorations placed to showcase this special home. The front porch offers a swing for just that laid back relaxing that we all need.
Inside guests will enter into the living room complete with comfy sofa and chair and placed to enjoy the flat screen television with DVD player. Open to the living room is a fully equipped kitchen and table with chairs.
Two bedrooms both have their own bath. The front bedroom has a day bed with trundle (two single beds), and is accented with reds and greens including the floral coverlet on the bed. The bathroom has a shower. In the back part of the house is the second bedroom with a queen bed. The bed was made by your host and truly has Texan style. It is topped with a beautiful and tasteful western motif bed cover. A saddle belonging to your host from when he was competing is displayed in the bedroom. The bath has a shower.
A covered porch is the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning, visiting or just reading a good book. It has unique yet comfortable wagen wheel table and chairs, plus a fenced yard if bringing children or a small dog.
There is also off-street parking to the left of the house. The easiest and most direct walk to town is—walk north on Plum Street; take a right onto Ufer Street; cross the walking bridge over the creek where you will find South Orange Street. You can walk South Orange three blocks and be on West Main Street.
