Primrose is located only two blocks off Main Street in the heart of the downtown area in the Historic District. You are a short walking distance from Fredericksburg's legendary shops along Main Street.
Primrose guests particularly enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the large backyard and the huge pecan trees, which are home to squirrels. There is a table and chairs on the deck, a grill and plenty of room to entertain.
As a guest at Primrose, a 1940's home, you will enjoy not only the many decorator touches, but also the Fredericksburg antiques that have been acquired over the years. The Victorian style porch with it�s gingerbread trim has two comfy rocking chairs inviting guests to relax and enjoy. The rooms are light and airy with beautiful oak floors. The living room is accented with a sleeper sofa, mauve chairs and a large rug, with sheer lace curtains that add to the elegance of this spacious room.
The charming kitchen is equipped with a range, refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker. Adjacent to the kitchen is a grand dining room with elegant china in the antique display hutch/desk. Enjoy your morning coffee at the beautiful heirloom antique table for six. The windows and sheer curtains bring in the morning light and the opportunity to enjoy the crisp Fredericksburg mornings.
There are many special touches in the bedrooms including lace and embroidered pillows, sheer curtains (shades are hidden behind for late morning sleepy heads) and lace and embroidered pillows. The queen brass beds and love floral pattered comforters complete this quaint setting. The bath is located in a hallway between the two bedrooms with a tub/shower.
