Rooster Springs is a board and batten cabin with an early Texas character. Located 8 miles from town Rooster Springs is the perfect getaway to enjoy the quiet countryside and rest and relaxation. “One day in the country is worth a month in the city” .
Enjoy watching nature and, when lucky, the deer playing in the field. Grill your dinner and enjoy the picnic area overlooking the bluff from the rockers on the front porch. A spa tub sits behind the hosts home, and will be available ONLY for guests during your stay. Inside the living room boasts wide plank pine floors and old-fashioned 6 over 6 wood windows accented with lace curtains. A limestone rock fireplace is the focal point of this quaint room. The fully equipped kitchen with old red style cabinets is ready for cooking. Table is set for two. The focal point of the light and airy bedroom is the queen-size white iron bed topped with quilt. A large shower is in the adjacent bath.
