A Halloween Costume Party for Adults benefiting the Good Samaritan Center
The Monster Masquerade benefiting the local Good Samaritan Center will take place, Sunday, Oct. 30 at Becker Vineyards’ Barrel Chai Room from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. This Halloween costume party is an adults only event. Admission is $25 per person and includes live music by local musician Richy Rhyne and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
Located at 140 Industrial Loop, the Good Samaritan Center is a charitable medical and dental clinic that helps low-income individuals and families that have no health insurance. It serves residents in Blanco, Gillespie, Kimble, Llano, and Mason Counties. The service area also extends to people who live in the towns of Comfort and Brady. Thirty percent of their budget is covered by patient fees and rental income from space in their building. The remaining 70% comes through private donations from individuals (no state or federal funding is accepted).
