A Fandangle Sampler at the LBJ Ranch

May 6, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The Fandangle Sampler is a shortened version of the show that has run for 75 years every June near Albany, Texas at Fort Griffin and tells the story of the Texas Frontier – of Indians hunting the prairie, settlers moving west with herds of Longhorn cattle and soldiers protecting civilization. The evening includes a catered BBQ dinner by the Salt Lick, beer and wine, live country music by Jake Penrod and his “Million Dollar Cowboys” and dancing under the oak trees on the banks of the Pedernales! The Fandangle was first performed on the LBJ Ranch in 1967, again in 1976 and the last time in 2008. It returns in 2016 to celebrate the National Park Service Centennial. At the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park.

5 to 10 pm. $50 adults; $15 children 12 and under.
