Great little house in a quiet part of town!! No surprises from the photos to the actual product!! Best rental I have ever had off the internet!! The rental company did a good job sending me the info I needed in a timely way — not overloading my inbox with a bunch of ads for their services. Thanks for providing a solid product without all the hype. We would definitely return for another visit!!
One suggestion: amber lightbulbs do not add character, just bad lighting!! Especially over the bathroom vanity!!

Lovely, updated home. Very comfortable beds, updated bathrooms and kitchen. Nicely decorated. Spotlessly clean. Too cold outside to use backyard amenities but looked nice. Definitely recommend.
Hackberry Haus Fredericksburg Delights during the Holidays

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed at Hackberry Haus. The property is on a large lot with comfortable seating on the front porch. We especially enjoy the large master bathroom,which has two sinks and lots of counter space. Each bedroom has a dedicated bath. The interior is decorated in light colors with French doors that open onto the backyard, making the house especially inviting in the winter time. During December, the holiday lights on the back porch are quite festive, in addition to the seasonal decorations inside. Gastehaus Schmidt goes the extra mile with their service!

The house was so beautiful and clean, it was welcoming from the moment we walked in. It was masterfully decorated and offered a comfort that felt like home. It was so peaceful and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend this to others.

This place was great! Can’t beat the location and the house is adorable. Loved our stay there and definitely will be back. The beds are comfy and bathrooms are spacious. The backyard is awesome!

Such a beautifully decorated home and so comfortable. Designed so cute! We were close enough to main street, and yet didn't have the highway noise factor at night. Also the home was very clean, and very well stocked with needed amenities. Loved the hot tub and fire pit in the back yard. We only had one glitch that caused an inconvenience, of which the host tried to accommodate us as well and quickly as possible. Loved our stay in Fredericksburg. Such a charming town and we got to enjoy Oktoberfest for the first time. Lots of fun!
