The front bedroom boasts an impressive king-size bed with premium linens that will make you want to nestle in and stay! The back bedroom is decorated in cool hues of gray with an especially comfortable queen-size bed and private views of the lovely back yard. The den has many seating options, all of which are designed to be casual and comfortable, and maybe even nap-inducing. A large TV is on one wall of den, with free access to a wide array of channels. The kitchen is well-stocked with most anything you could need for a meal in-house, plus there is a charcoal grill in the yard if you decide to go that route.
Wifi is fast and free! A Bluetooth wireless speaker is available if you’d like to have a little music to go with your scenery. USB plugs are in most rooms of the house. Most guests especially enjoy the privacy and serenity of the expansive yard, with its outdoor seating areas. The Primrose was very comfortable. My husband and I stayed here with our dog and we all enjoyed the large back yard. The location is wonderful to be close walking distance to shops and restaurants yet be just out of the hubub of Main Street!

This home is so charming! It was perfect for a weekend getaway. Beds were very comfortable and house had everything we needed. The huge backyard was great for our little dog and everything was in walking distance. The only thing would be to have instructions on how to use the Apple TV remote. Looking forward to returning!

The house was great. It was nicely furnished and in a great location, close to Main and very quiet. It was perfect for two people but would be cramped for more than two IMO. It is very compact and tight quarters. The only negative I have is that the TV has an Apple remote and unless you're familiar with it, can take a while to figure out. There is a book with instructions on the house, but the instruction page for the TV is mission. I stopped in Saturday morning to Gastehaus to inquire about the remote and they kindly offered to come out and show me how to use it. We weren't there much during business hours, so I never took them up on that. Yard was great for the dog.

The Primrose house was an excellent accommodation. After initially finding out that airbnb failed to secure my rental, the staff at Gästehaus Schmidt scrambled and set us up at the Primrose. It was not as close to Main as the original choice, but close enough a short drive couldnt fix. The Primrose house was cute, quaint and stylish. My guests and I enjoyed our stay very much, and would definitely use your company again.

We loved our stay at Primrose Cottage - what a special place! It is beautifully decorated, and has everything you could possibly need. We grilled every evening and enjoyed the backyard. The King-size bed is quite possibly the most comfortable bed ever. We had a wonderful experience overall and the staff was so gracious when we checked in; including many dining and gallery suggestions. Thank you!

Primrose house has a great location. Bedrooms are nice and very comfortable. The kitchen drawers could be simplified and needs to be organized and checked for needs such as a new can opener. IT was cold and rainy and we wanted to watch a Christmas DVD and there was no remote that worked the current TV. The lady on call was very nice and came over to try to help, but the Element TV did not have an Element remote... or something like that.

I have stayed here before and was very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful new decor on my last visit. Everything is clean and lovely with fluffy towels, very comfy beds and great Wi-Fi and TV. Best of all two blocks from Main Street so you can park and forget your car if you like. There\'s even an HEB within walking distance if you forget toothpaste :) The backyard is beautiful too - worth setting aside a night to sit outside and enjoy the stars.

Location is awesome! No worries about finding parking so you can shop Main Street- just a quick 2 blocks to where you want to be. Really perfect location! The house is small but nice, furnished with everything you need. Lots of towels, kitchen items, pillow, etc. Great cable TV choices and fast Wi-Fi. Huge backyard- we ate breakfast out there at the patio table. Floors are kinda squeaky in case you have any light sleepers or frequent nighttime wakers. We would gladly return here in the future.

Located at an ideal distance from Main Street in Fredericksburg, this cottage is perfect for a family of four and dog(s). The two cozy bedrooms are appointed with plush beds, room darkening curtains and tasteful lamps. The living room, kitchen and dining area are also awesome. Best of all is the one full acre of a backyard with tall trees and a fire pit on a nice porch. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Primrose Cottage is a perfectly situated location. The photos represent the cottage well, beds were comfortable, so rested well. The back yard was a great spot to sit at the end of the day with a glass of wine....quiet and relaxing.

I rented this house for my birthday weekend with 3 other ladies. We all enjoyed the well decorated house and slept well in our comfy beds. The first night we took advantage of the fire pit and had a nice time outside while we chatted. The proximity to the main street was awesome and we did even all walk to HEB when restaurants were too packed. It was nice to be able to all park in the driveway too. An added bonus. Hope to be back with husband and kids since that backyard was massive!
