A swing and two rockers greet guests as they approach this 1920s residence showcasing the two entrance doors, as was the trend during that time period. Located one block north of Main Street and just a few from the main shopping, this adorable house is warm and cozy with wonderful accents throughout.
The door on the left is the entrance into the living/dining room. The living room offers a comfortable setting with its leather sofa and chair both placed to enjoy the large screen television. The dining room boasts a table that seats six. The beadboard, natural wood door and window frames, and beautiful wood floors leave a feeling of elegance. The spacious kitchen offers a gas range/oven, large refrigerator, dishwasher, and coffeemaker.
The master bedroom is in the back of the house and has a king bed with a beautiful grey bed cover and accents. An electric fireplace is also found in this romantic room. The large bath has a lovely tub with shower. Just outside the master bedroom is a small room with a single bed—perfect for a fifth person. A front bedroom has a double bed with warm neutral colors and is complete with a private bathroom with a shower.
Next door to Aunt Vergie’s is a little guest house named A Gingerbread House. Between the two houses is an outdoor area for Aunt Vergie’s guests offering a table and chairs.
