American Craft Beer Week at Fredericksburg Brewing Company – May 14-20
Cheers. Salud. Prost. L’Chaim. The Brewers Association—the national non-profit association representing the majority of today’s U.S. breweries, and publishers of CraftBeer.com— and The Fredericksburg Brewing Company, the oldest brewpub in Texas, will celebrate American Craft Beer Week (ACBW) May 14-20.
Considered The Mother of All Beer Weeks, ACBW recognizes one of America’s true culinary arts and provides a platform for small and independent craft brewers to salute supporters and connect with their local communities. Thousands of today’s beer enthusiasts, beginners and hard core geeks will toast craft beer, with ACBW events predicted to take place across the country.
The brewmasters at the Fredericksburg Brewing Company invite you to participate in ACBW with them. Come and taste an all new brew created specifically for the ACBW celebration. This new black IPA, appropriately named Black Cat IPA, is sure to please.
“It’s hoppy like our IPA and dark like the porter,” said Rick Green, Brewmaster at Fredericksburg Brewing Company.
Share a beer and visit with the brewers every afternoon of ACBW at 4PM on the benches outside the brewery at 245 East Main St. Fredericksburg. All week long check out our featured food special, made with the brewery’s craft beer. Also, enter our photo contest. Check out the Fredericksburg Brewing Company’s Facebook page for information about how to submit photos in our contest to win brewery paraphernalia.
