Texas Fest – July 20-21

Enjoy pari-mutuel horse racing and watch chili cooks compete in a CASI sanctioned event.  Anyone interested in cooking can contact Kim Hiley at (210) 286-4275.  Texas Fest weekend also coincides with the Night in Old Fredericksburg celebration.  Those who get a wristband with paid admission at either event get into the other event free.   At the Gillespie County Fairgrounds on Hwy 16 South.

Gates open at 11 am.  Post time is 1 pm.  Gates close after the last race – usually around 6:30 pm. $5 for adults; $1 for children 6 to 12; under 6 free.  Box seats are $9.
