Located a short six plus miles from Main Street this cute little red brick country cottage will fill you with wonderful and creative decorating ideas.
Enter into the living/dining and kitchen area. Your hosts cleverly accented the walls with a white picket fence. The living room offers an overstuffed ever so comfortable sofa (queen sleeper) with two comfy white wicker chairs. All are arranged to enjoy the television (dish) and DVD player. A day bed is handsomely covered in black, red and white with a collection of bed trays on the shelf above... truly picturesque. The kitchen is light and bright. The white tile counter tops with the old tin walls create a fun atmosphere to cook or just make your coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a magnificent collection of so many things that you will want to find your own treasures and collection when you depart. A vintage porcelain table with four red chairs is found just a few feet away. There is also a washer/dryer across from the kitchen that guests are welcome to use (bring your own detergent).
The hallway leading to the bedroom and bath reminds us “A day in the country is worth a month in the city.” A comfortable king bed in the bedroom is handsomely topped with a colorful quilt and surrounded by treasures found over the years. Across the hall is a bathroom with a claw foot tub and shower.
The private back yard is set up with a wonderful gazebo with seating, a firepit (wood provided), and a hammock. Great area to walk or ride bicycles.

Nice home out in the country. We really enjoyed all the wild life we got to see and appreciated the nice touches like fresh blueberry muffins, milk and eggs for breakfast. The bedroom was comfortable enough and we had no problems with anything. Shower is a bit difficult for someone who is tall, but was able to make it work.

We (4 young ladies) had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house seemed to have a welcoming feel to it the minute we walked in. There was a fresh cake on the bar, also,cereal and coffee pot and coffee. milk, orange juice and eggs in the refrigerator and a well equipped kitchen. Also there were plenty towels, shampoo, soap, bathroom tissue, hair dryer, curling iron, washer and dryer. But the part that I think we enjoyed the most was sitting in the back yard late in the afternoon and watching the deer, goats, chickens, Guineas, and ducks that seemed to feel as much at home as we did. Deer came in the front yard every morning. I would recommend this to anyone that likes to kick back and relax after days of exploring Fredericksburg and surrounding areas and we will definitely try to stay here when we come back❗️Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable

Bless your heart was a breath of fresh air (literally) from the busy city life we live at home. The house was a comfortable and cozy place to come back to after a long day in the heat shopping in Fredericksburg. Three adults and a toddler found no problems when trying to sleep and relax in the quiet country home. Lots of new animals (deer, chickens, guineas) for my toddler to look at and hundreds of lightning bugs to watch from the outside patio. The service is amazing as well. We were able to reschedule our trip for many months later than originally planned and everyone was very understanding and accommodating. Our stay was truly a great experience.

Always our first choice when visiting Fredericksburg. This time celebrated a birthday. Stayed 4 nights and wanted to stay longer. Love all the deer and animals. Could leave home with only a toothbrush and have all the amenities of home!

I spent a lot of time looking for a guest home for a mini-vacation and this one just stood out to me. It was decorated super cute, great working TV, comfortable and cozy couch and kind size bed. There was everything you could think of in the kitchen too! I think everything in the home was carefully thought out and planned in order to make your stay comfortable. There were neighbors on either side of the house but you'd never know it because there were so many trees secluding the area. There were plenty of deer, chickens and a few goats in the back yard. You can't see in the pictures but they updated the back yard with a covered, raised deck, hammock and tire swing. Perfect for families with children too. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep! We loved our stay and will come again soon!

My Mom and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The owners provided everything we could ever need and the house smelled so nice! It was very clean. We appreciated the very tasty muffins and there was so many cute knickknacks to check out. We got a kick out of the many deer and chickens! It was very peaceful,quiet and relaxing and if we ever come back to Fredericksburg, we plan to try to stay here again because we had an amazing stay! It was perfect for our dogs as well!

Darling little house! Beds were very comfortable. Including the pull out sofa bed which isn’t always the case. Enjoyable to sit outside and enjoy wine and coffee while watching the deer, lightening bugs, chickens and even an armadillo. The coffee, juice,milk, cereal and delicious muffins were very appreciated. Looking forward to the next time here!

We are very happy with this rental experience. The driveway was easy to spot from the instructions and we had no problem unloading our bags late at night thanks to the lights and covered parking. The doors were unlocked and the key was on the counter. They had the electric fireplace on for us since it was so cold outside. We were so pleased to discover the bed and pillows were so comfortable and felt amazing after a long day of driving. We enjoyed the continental breakfast provided. It was easy to walk the dog in the yard or down the street of the neighborhood. The neighborhood was very safe feeling and we liked our privacy. We loved watching the deer and chickens out the windows. The shower was hot and we enjoyed the fun tub! All the linens were fantastic. Everything was so easy and relaxing and very well done. We would love to stay here again next time.

Very cute country/Christmas cottage in Fredericksburg. The location was very convenient. The neighborhood was nice and very quiet. I love that we could bring our mini Aussie. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s and this one was probably one of the most thought out as far as what you need as a guest. It had everything. The milk and cereal left was a very nice treat. We didn’t open it because we didn’t want to waste it though! Plenty of bedding, sheets and pillows for a family of 5. Thank you for sharing your cottage!

My GF had stayed here earlier in the year and she suggested we stay at Bless Your Heart on a short Fredericksburg weekend. It was a great choice. The place is very cozy, clean and close to town. We sat outside eating cheese & meat drinking wine watching the deer & chickens meander around. A very relaxing place! Note: If the WI-FI does not initially work, check the router on the living room window to make sure it is on! We will stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My family and I visited Fredericksburg for the weekend and this cute little house was just perfect for us. Only 10 min away from Main Street in the middle of the woods, really clean and stocked up! Best part was waking up to see deer and chickens all around!
