Das Solheid Sunday House | Fredericksburg Vacation Rental
Located just two blocks north of Main Street this wonderful little house is on a quiet street and surrounded by other lovely homes. The front porch is the perfect place to enjoy our crisp Hill Country mornings while sitting in the rocking chairs.
Once inside notice the high beamed ceilings with the natural wood creating a spacious feel in this one room Sunday Haus. Enjoy the king iron bed with a tufted cream colored comforter and accented with fluffy pillows. An armoire is placed next to the bed and is used for hanging clothes during your stay. A 42” flat screen television has standard cable. Two comfy armchairs are great for reading or visiting during your stay. The loft above the bedroom is not available for guests at this time. The coffeebar kitchen has a small refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. There is a bar table with two stools. Enjoy the hutch in the kitchen showcasing the beautiful china from days gone by. A special treat in the house is the bathroom with the large glass shower boasting two shower heads on both sides and the concrete lavatory with plenty of space for your facial supplies.
Outside is a wonderful private patio with comfortable seating and chiminea; wood will not be provided. On the side of the house is a round rock wall that showcases an old well.

HOSTS - House to yourselves; the homeowners do have a house behind the guest house
BREAKFAST - Breakfast vouchers are given at the time of check-in; coffee and teas are left
SLEEPS - Two persons with king bed
BATH - Bath has large glass shower with two shower heads
KITCHEN - Coffeebar with small refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker

This little home is the perfect retreat for a country getaway. With plenty to do nearby, you have great options for relaxing in the house and sightseeing, dining, or shopping. The home is clean and decorated with a nod to nostalgia, yet updated in all the desired ways. The coffee bar is well-stocked and the bed is comfortable. There's reliable wifi and a TV, but we found ourselves more likely to sit on the front porch rocking chairs and enjoy a quiet view!

Superb. Das Solheid Sunday House gets ten stars. It is such a cozy place. After being out all day, it felt like coming home when we returned for the evening. The owners include every amenity. The linens are heavenly. The bed is comfy. Wish our stay had been longer.

In a world where bigger is better, this Sunday Haus proves them wrong. Everything you need for a relaxing getaway retreat is packed in this historic B&B. Close to main activities in town but tucked away on a quiet street, luxurious king size bed, massive stone shower with two shower heads and historic significance of the building's history. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Amazing little cottage two blocks off of Main St., Fredericksburg. My wife and I had a wonderful time and were able to walk to the venues in town. The room is clean and was stocked with coffee and water. The rocking chairs on the front porch was a nice touch. We were both very happy that we stayed in the Das Solheid Sunday House On our first trip Fredericksburg. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend

Very well updated historic Sunday house. We appreciated the two shower heads with separate controls and the kitchen with the mini refrigerator for left overs and snacks. Very cozy feel to the place. First time staying here for our anniversary and it was lovely. The bed was super comfortable. We loved the shower, big enough for two! There were little soaps, shampoo and conditioners in the bathroom. This is a cozy space. The chairs were not super comfy but we just sat on the bed instead. It is located on a quiet street. Parking right in front of the house. We ate at Alamo Springs cafe (great burgers), visited the smallest state park (Old Tunnel SP) to watch the bats fly out and shopped :-) We had a great time.
