Located in the historic district, this 1957 era home has just been gutted and completely updated but carefully keeping its fun, funky 60s touches including mid-century modern wall art hearkening back to its original design. Browse through a year's worth of 1967 Life magazines bound in a fascinating single volume. The three large bedrooms have a distinctive touch, each featuring a king sized bed.
Games in the garage include a putting green and hand ball toss game. Free Electric Vehicle trickle charging on a 110 volt connection in the garage. Bring your own 110 volt car adapter.

We have been coming to Fredericksburg for about 18 years, so we have stayed in many homes. Happy days is a contender for the top. The location could not be better. We have even stayed right on main street before and prefer this. You are about a two minute walk from Main Street but you have the benefit of a quieter street for noise. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. The backyard is beautiful. You could hear live music from the front porch. I almost want to keep this my secret

My wife and I were celebrating my cousin receiving her PHD along with her son. The house was prefect. It was close to Main St, spacious, great AC, clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Perfect walking distance to Main Street. Enough space for the 4 of us and our dog. Nicely decorated and good amenities. A little noisy but slept well. Will come back!

Very clean and well kept. Well stocked - need a pair of tongs for the kitchen but otherwise great. Some street/car noise in the early morning but worth it to have the location. Quality linens and towels. We had a great time. Thank you very much.

This is a wonderful choice! Recently remodeled with fresh finishes and new appliances. There is a comfortable public space and large bedrooms. The backyard is fenced and off street parking is available.
The front porch was my favorite feature. It is furnished with comfortable chairs and allows a view of an interesting street scene. The house is a block from the heart of Main Street but noise was not a problem.
We will stay here again on a future visit.

We stayed here for the "soft launch" of this new-to-the-market vacation rental. It is a perfect location with short walk to the Nimitz Museum, shopping, dining and entertainment. Everything is new including appliances, beds, flooring, etc. Our dog loved the large, fenced private backyard. Great fun!

Our family was leaving our town from the recent hurricane Laura, we had extra dogs that was not allowed in the rules. The owners graciously bent the rules and allowed our extra fur babies to stay at the Happy Days Home. We are extremely thankful for their kindness! The house was clean, had plenty of towels, pots and pans, utensils, shampoo, blow dryers, blankets, condiments, big fenced yard, it was roomy and had all the extras anyone could ask for! The Pesek family will be forever grateful to the owners kindness in our time of need! We definitely recommend Happy Days Home! I give it five stars!
