The living room has a warm, rich red striped sofa comfortably arranged for TV viewing. These same colors are carried into the master bedroom. A grey tufted King bed is topped with white and red bedding and an assortment of fluffy pillows. The upstairs is a spacious pristine white bedroom full of color and warmth. Queen & full size beds are decked with red, white and blue quilts and spiced with red gingham ruffles and curtains. To tie in with this traditional Fredericksburg look, there’s a settee adorned in red gingham to relax or read in.
In the back of the house is a kitchen equipped for light cooking. White tile backdrops and countertops and an array of decorative tiles enrich the pine cabinets.
The home has been lovingly renovated and decorated. Each room is furnished with wonderful antiques and has original pine floors and area rugs. The rooms are bright and cheerful and much thought has been given to guests' needs.
The outdoor space is equally enticing with a pleasant backyard, charcoal grill (charcoal not provided), and firepit (wood not provided). For electric vehicle owners, a 220 volt plug is available for fast and convenient charging of your car.
Trek Enchanted Rock, hike, bike, shop till you drop, stroll through the garden or sit on the front porch, rock and just be------. Enjoy!

The location of this house was fantastic, within walking distance of Main Street. Check in was extremely easy and they communicated everything we needed to know. The kitchen has enough for light cooking and we loved that the house is pet friendly and has a fenced in yard. The hot tub was an added bonus. We enjoyed our time and would definitely return in the future.

We were completely satisfied with our stay at 2nd Home. The house was very clean, well maintained, within walking distance of downtown, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We really appreciated the off street parking spot. The pricing was competitive and fair. My only suggestion for improvement is a minor one - fix the wardrobe in the bedroom so the doors will stay shut and not be partially open for potential bumps. Other than that very minor thing, thank you for an excellent stay!

We enjoyed staying at your home this past weekend, the Christmas Tree out front was a nice touch. All in all a very clean home, but small issue with exposed nail in kitchen floor which we all Keeped hooking on our socks was a bit annoying. All exterior windows could use major cleaning as the morning sunrise was beautiful to see only if you were out front on porch. Back yard could use some clean up and better landscaping. Yes I’m a neat freak, but that’s me..I would stay again:) Happy Holidays.
