Your Hiding Place | Fredericksburg Vacation Rental
This country home is located only a few miles from downtown Fredericksburg. Surrounded by magnificent trees, guests will treasure the home’s country porch complete with comfy Adirondack chairs. The porch is an ideal place to enjoy the abundant wildlife and nature found on the property, including deer, rabbits and an array of birds. Your Hiding Place has been lovingly built and furnished to enjoy the very best of country living.
Inside the a-frame beamed ceiling and pine floors highlight a spacious living room/kitchen. A large sofa and two comfy, elegant rocking chairs are placed to enjoy the gas-log fireplace or watch the television. The roomy kitchen has a small refrigerator, two burner stovetop, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. Pine beaded cabinets are found on one wall with table and chairs placed by the windows to enjoy the wonderful views of the countryside.
A king-size bed is found in the romantic bedroom, which is placed to enjoy the double-sided gas-log fireplace. Take pleasure in the large soaking tub found in the corner of the bedroom designed to get pleasure from the fireplace on those cold winter nights. An adjacent bath has a large glass shower.
The location of this country home is perfect for walkers and cyclists. Three country roads near Your Hiding Place guesthouse is great for walking, jogging, bicycling, or bird watching. Your hosts will provide binoculars and bird books in case you encounter a rare sighting. There is also the Palo Alto Creek flowing just a short distance down the road.

We loved our weekend here! The guesthouse is so nice and immaculately clean. We walked in to find a delicious, heart shaped chocolate cake waiting for us on the table. In addition to that, there were pastries, kolaches, drinks in the frig, fruit and even a bottle of wine. As if that wasn\'t enough, the king sized bed was exceptionally comfortable! We have stayed in many different places all over Texas and this is our new favorite place. Thank you Kathi and Glenn for making us feel so special. We plan to come back soon!

This place was wonderful. The large tub was romantic, and all the little things made this place feel like a home. We saw deer up close, and there were no disturbances. It was close to cross mountain, which was beautiful when you got on top of it. We will be returning to this place when we plan another trip to Fredericksburg. Kathi and Glenn were great hosts, and they even left us a chocolate cake, wine, and a gift card to an ice cream shop.

Your Hiding Place is a beautiful cottage with all the amenities located a few miles from the The hustle and bustle of town. The wildlife is amazing, from the deer to the birds to the squirrels. The cookies and breakfast pastries were a great touch, and a bottle of wine to help us celebrate our 30th anniversary was the icing on the cake. We can't wait to visit again!

Our daughters had a wonderful time at this guesthouse. They loved the house and say it is the cutest thing! The cake on the table, fresh fruit and flowers upon arrival was a great treat, with more surprises in store. Very welcoming and charming. We love ths cabin and have returned for the second or third time! The location is not too far and not too close to town. The accommodations are wonderful - clean, well equipped, safe and comfy! The owner's provided snacks, drinks, breakfast items and a heart shaped chocolate cake! Our favorite feature is the gas two-sided fireplace providing warmth and ambiance in the living and bedroom. We appreciated the opportunity to have the key at the property instead of having to stop by the office in town to pick it up!

This was our 2nd stay in 2 years. We knew what to expect and were very pleased with our stay. We appreciated the breakfast items and also the gift card for additional items(we stayed 3 nights). The place has everything needed for a nice visit, with many small extras added in. The drive into town just takes a few minutes and anything else you might need can be found there. The bathroom is open to the bedroom with an open doorway. Not a big deal, but even just two people sometimes would like a little more privacy when using the restroom. Maybe could add a door, or even curtain?? It is in a beautiful wooded, fairly secluded area. A gas fireplace, open to both the bedroom and the living area is a nice touch and we used it for a little heat in the evening,while we were there. The A/C also worked great during the warm afternoons(high 80's while we were there). There is a large Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom which we did not use but looked very inviting. Nice big shower area in the bathroom. The grass was fairly tall all over. Again, not a big deal, but it would help if the grass around the area of the walkway and parking area was shorter. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.
