290 Wine Shuttle Begins Saturday, March 16

The new 290 Wine Shuttle will kick off operations on Saturday, March 16, providing transportation between Fredericksburg and participating wineries located along Highway 290 East. The 290 Wine Shuttle will run each Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. with stops every 30 minutes at the Visitor Information Center located at 302 East Austin Street, and at wineries along the wine shuttle route. The 290 Wine Shuttle route currently includes Messina Hof Hill County, Grape Creek Vineyards, Hilmy Cellars, Torri de Pietra, 4.0 Cellars and Pedernales Cellars, however additional wineries and stops will be added in the future.

Riders can board the 290 Wine Shuttle at the Visitor Information Center, or if already at a participating winery on the 290 Wine Shuttle route, riders may take the shuttle into Fredericksburg for shopping, dining and sightseeing. An all-day shuttle pass is $15 per person, and $10 per person after 3:00 p.m. The 290 Wine Shuttle is also available for private tours and shuttle services for special events, groups, weddings, and more.
