Our Texas Roots Run Deep! From the top of the Texas Hill Country appellation in San Saba to the iconic wildflower fields of Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg, Wedding Oak Winery’s Texas roots do indeed run deep. Named for the historic, 400-year-old matrimonial oak tree near our winery in San Saba, we planted our first estate vineyards in 2000, focusing on varietals and blends that love the red clay loam and limestone pan terroir. In March 2016, Wedding Oak Winery at Wildseed Farms opened its doors with wine experiences that are intertwined with the glory of bluebonnets, poppies, Mexican hats, and other portrait-quality wildflowers.
